Abstract
This research work becomes an invaluable tool that demonstrates the importance of communication, especially when silence is broken and a series of experiences and situations are textually narrated. These narratives reflect the state of sadness and repression that a person may experience, leading them to have suicidal ideation. By sharing these stories, voice is given to feelings and thoughts that would otherwise remain hidden, highlighting the crucial need for open and honest communication in the fight against suicidal ideation. Communication not only acts as a catalyst for personal change but can also have a significant impact on the community, creating a network of support and understanding. This research employs a solid methodology where testimonial literature plays a fundamental role in supporting the main thesis of the text titled "Reasons to Want to Die." Through a series of detailed narratives, the author exposes experiences and factors that led him to contemplate suicide, providing an intimate and profound insight into his thoughts and feelings. These narratives not only reflect his reality but also resonate with the testimonies of other people who have lived through similar experiences. These collected testimonies align with the author's context, demonstrating that suicidal ideation is not an isolated phenomenon but a reaction to shared life circumstances and traumatic experiences. The diversity and depth of these stories provide a solid foundation for understanding the multiple facets of suicidal ideation. Upon concluding these testimonies, the research is reinforced with the arguments of experts in the fields of mental health
