Mind-body practices are related to better health and well-being, thus deepening the unified denomination, evidencing that they are physical movements together with meditative components that interact together between the body and the mind. The objective of this review is to determine what is known and what has been published about this type of practice. The methodological design of the research is descriptive, for which we consulted databases (ProQuest, EBSCOhost, ACM DL, Dialnet, ScienceDirect and Pubmed), studies related to the subject to be treated, as well as specialized bibliography. The PRISMA method was taken as a reference to carry out reviews, which allowed a comparison between the different documents found. The results show that, over the last few years, in various countries and in different academic journals, the benefits of mind-body practices in both mental and physical distinctions are being disseminated and known. In conclusion, there is a need for more robust research and the union of concepts around these practices, such as corporeality, which abolishes the arbitrary and apparent distinction between physical and mental health
