Learning a second language is not only for individuals who have an easy access to education, but also for a marginalized person with a low income who can greatly benefit from learning. This project is focused on promoting teaching a second language such as English to marginalized women in Bogotá, who were or had been dedicated to prostitution. This way, the project aims to explore the aspects that affect their motivation to study and to learn English and to design a syllabus proposal that promotes a teaching approach that improves marginalized women learning experience and that help them internalize their knowledge, values, and motivation to learn.en
