Abstract
The Colombian agricultural sector is abundant in land suitable for cultivation and has highly productive soils; However, it deals with problems that affect the opportunities and quality of life of the peasants. Pasuncha is a sector, located in the municipality of Pacho Cundinamarca, with a total of 496 inhabitants; region that is not external to these problems. Through this associative proposal, an alternative is created to improve the quality of life, through the production and commercialization of chayote, given that the geography and characteristics of the soil adapt correctly to this crop. The proposal is based on a shared value scheme, which associates Pasunchanos farmers through a pre-cooperative. Production is potentiated, opens a market to chayote, standardizes a socially innovative value chain that avoids the intervention of the intermediary. In the end, indicators are established that allow the social impact and economic benefit to be measured and also guarantee an efficient operation.
