Abstract
Es necesidad comprender como el diagnóstico del TEA (trastorno de espectro autista) en uno de los hijos, supone cambios a nivel social y familiar, además de analizar como dicha experiencia trae consigo reestructuraciones o implementación de diferentes estrategias en beneficio tanto del menor como de su familia y su desarrollo en los diferentes entornos en los que se desenvuelve.
Estas familias al atravesar por una serie de cambios a raíz del diagnóstico desde el momento de sus conocimiento a través de la experimentación de emociones como el miedo, la incertidumbre o incluso la negación del diagnóstico y posteriormente de acuerdo al ciclo de vida del menor, relacionados con aspectos como la comunicación, la interacción y la socialización en los diferentes contextos en los que se encuentra inmerso el menor y cada uno de los integrantes de la familia, se enfrentan a la implementación de un estilo de vida diferente relacionado con la manera en que se afrontan actividades cotidianas en torno a la satisfacción de necesidades y atención de cuidados requeridos por el menor.
It is necessary to understand how the diagnosis of ASD (autism spectrum disorder) in one of the children, involves changes at the social and family level, in addition to analyzing how this experience brings about restructuring or implementation of different strategies for the benefit of both the child and his family and his development in the different environments in which he develops. These families go through a series of changes as a result of the diagnosis from the moment of their knowledge through the experience of emotions such as fear, uncertainty or even denial of the diagnosis and later according to the child's life cycle, related to aspects such as communication, interaction and socialization in children, interaction and socialization in the different contexts in which the child and each of the family members are immersed, they face the implementation of a different lifestyle related to the way in which they face daily activities around the satisfaction of needs and care required by the child.
