Abstract
Through a qualitative documentary review, academic documents were analyzed to understand the role of educational agents in guaranteeing the rights of children and adolescents who are part of the comprehensive protection system. The results show that these actors perform functions that transcend the pedagogical, assuming socio-emotional, accompaniment, and protection responsibilities. However, they face limitations associated with a lack of conceptual and methodological tools and institutional support. The findings highlight the need to strengthen their training and promote shared responsibility among the different actors in the system. From a social work perspective, this study is significant because it recognizes educators as actors who contribute to the well-being and comprehensive development of children and adolescents. It also highlights the importance of social intervention and collective action in consolidating protective environments and educational practices that promote inclusion, equity, and the effective guarantee of children's rights. In summary, the research concludes that ensuring comprehensive protection requires real and coordinated joint responsibility among the various social actors, with educational agents occupying a strategic position in promoting the well-being and development of children and adolescents.
