Abstract
El presente trabajo académico tiene como objetivo analizar los factores psicológicos que influyen en una decisión vocacional y profesional de jóvenes rurales a partir de la revisión de literatura científica especifica del tema. Es fundamental hacer una exploración precisa para conocer el estado actual de la orientación vocacional y profesional, no solo en Colombia sino también en otros paises latinoamericanos, sin olvidar la importancia que tiene para los jóvenes tomar las mejores decisiones frente a su futuro educativo. Se realizó una exploración documental de investigaciones a partir de unos criterios de inclusión y exclusión predeterminados, que circunscribieron trabajos de pregrado y maestría, además de artículos académicos publicados en revistas indexadas y bases de datos científicas que dieron aportes teóricos y conceptuales específicos sobre el tema. Después de realizado este trabajo se obtuvieron resultados, en donde los factores psicológicos que inciden en los procesos de orientación vocacional y profesional son la identidad, la toma de decisiones, la motivación y las experiencias significativas, pero también que en Colombia se presentaron más estudios publicados que en otros paises latinoamericanos. Finalmente, dentro de este proceso de monografía se pudo concluir que hay poca literatura sobre la orientación vocacional y profesional en contextos rurales y hay escases de programas y proyectos para estos medios tan específicos. Además, se puede decir que es necesario que en los proyectos educativos institucionales de Colombia (PEI) se incorporen políticas e integración del trabajo con la educación media vocacional dirigido a fortalecer el proyecto de vida.
The objective of this academic work is to analyze the psychological factors that influence vocational and professional decisions of rural youths based on the review of specific scientific literature on the subject. It is essential to make a precise exploration to know the current state of vocational and professional orientation, not only in Colombia but also in other Latin American countries, without forgetting the importance for young people to make the best decisions regarding their educational future. A documentary exploration of research was carried out based on predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria, which circumscribed undergraduate and master's degree works, in addition to academic articles published in indexed journals and scientific databases that provided specific theoretical and conceptual contributions on the subject. After this work was carried out, results were obtained, where the psychological factors that influence the processes of vocational and professional orientation are identity, decision making, motivation and significant experiences, but also that in Colombia there were more published studies than in other Latin American countries. Finally, within this monograph process it could be concluded that there is little literature on vocational and professional guidance in rural contexts and there is a scarcity of programs and projects for these very specific environments. In addition, it can be said that it is necessary that Colombia's institutional educational projects (PEI) incorporate policies and integration of work with vocational secondary education aimed at strengthening the life project.
