Abstract
El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo principal el diseño parcial del Sistema de Gestión en Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo (SG-SST) en una empresa minera ubicada en el departamento de Norte de Santander, Colombia. Esta propuesta se desarrolla con base en los lineamientos del Decreto 1072 de 2015 y la Resolución 0312 de 2019, los cuales establecen los estándares mínimos que deben cumplir las empresas en materia de seguridad y salud laboral.
Se inicia con un diagnóstico inicial que permite identificar el estado actual del SG-SST en la organización, mediante una revisión documental y visitas al sitio de trabajo. Posteriormente, se analizan los peligros y riesgos presentes en las actividades mineras, y se establecen medidas de intervención que permitan mitigar o eliminar dichos riesgos, priorizando la protección de los trabajadores.
Como resultado, se elabora documentación clave para la implementación del sistema, incluyendo la política de SST, matriz de identificación de peligros, cronograma de actividades, plan de capacitaciones, y procedimientos operativos seguros. El diseño propuesto busca fortalecer la cultura preventiva, mejorar las condiciones laborales y cumplir con la normatividad vigente, generando un impacto positivo en la productividad y el bienestar de los colaboradores.
Este trabajo constituye una base sólida para la implementación progresiva del SG-SST en la mina, con miras a la mejora continua y la sostenibilidad del sistema.
The main objective of this work is the partial design of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) at a mining company located in the department of Norte de Santander, Colombia. This proposal is based on the guidelines of Decree 1072 of 2015 and Resolution 0312 of 2019, which established the minimum standards that companies must meet in terms of ocupacional health and safety. It begins with an initial assessment that identifies the current status of the OHSMS in the organization through a document review and site visits. Subsequently, the hazards and risks present in mining activities are analyzed, and intervention measures are established to mitigate or eliminate these risks, prioritizing worker protection. As a result, key documentation for the implementation of the system is prepared, including the OHS policy, hazard identification matrix, activity schedule, training plan, and safe operating procedures. The proposed design seeks to strengthen a culture of prevention, improve working conditions, and comply with current regulations, generating a positive impact on employee productivity and well-being. This work provides a solid foundation for the progressive implementation of the OSHMS at the mine, with a view to continuous improvement and system sustainability.
