Abstract

Las enfermedades osteomusculares son un conjunto de lesiones inflamatorias o degenerativas de los músculos, tendones, articulaciones, ligamentos y nervios. Debido a la adopción de posturas forzadas, la realización de trabajos repetitivos, la inadecuada manipulación del manual de carga y la incorrecta aplicación de fuerzas durante el desarrollo de las actividades laborales, puede dar lugar a trastornos musculo-esqueléticos.
Introduction Osteomuscular diseases are a set of inflammatory or degenerative lesions of muscles, tendons, joints, ligaments and nerves. Due to the adoption of forced postures, the performance of repetitive work, the inadequate manipulation of the loading manual and the incorrect application of forces during the development of work activities, it can lead to musculoskeletal disorders. objective Identify the Osteomuscular risk factors of workers of the TIERRA GRATA BOSQUE SANTO project of the Municipality of Medellín in the year 2019, through a demographic and socioeconomic characterization, lifting of the hazard identification matrix and assessment of skeletal muscle risks to advance promotion programs and prevention. Methodology An observational and cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted. The study population was made up of employees of the Tierra Grata Bosque Santo project of the Municipality of Medellín; in which the survey was conducted to identify musculoskeletal risk factors. Results 39 questions were asked to 27 employees of the Tierra Grata Bosque Santo project of the Municipality of Medellín, it was found that the pathology due to osteomuscular problems is lumbar pain in the lower back, which is generated by exposure to journeys long work, We observe that 52% of the employees surveyed work more than 9 hours a day, which can generate joint overloads. 48% report feeling discomfort during the development of activities during their workday. Conclusions It is recommended to take active breaks, postural hygiene training, load management, to follow up the Epidemiology Surveillance System and periodic examinations. The hazard and risk identification matrix shows the biomechanical hazard which must be included in the work plan and training of prevention and intervention measures.
