Abstract
El proyecto de investigación denominado "Lengua de Señas UNIMINUTO Inclusivo"
tiene como propósito fundamental ampliar las oportunidades de inclusión en la Universidad
Minuto de Dios, buscando así hacer que la educación sea accesible para todos. En la sede de
Madrid de la universidad, la falta de conocimiento en el lenguaje de señas ha dado origen a una
problemática en la inclusión de personas con capacidades diferentes. La cuestión central
planteada es: ¿Cómo transformar la sede de la Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios en
Madrid en un entorno inclusivo que integre plenamente la lengua de señas?
A partir de esta premisa, uno de los objetivos primordiales consiste en el núcleo del
problema para comprender cómo abordarlo. El proceso involucra la concepción, evaluación,
puesta en práctica e investigación de los resultados de las acciones implementadas para reducir el
nivel de exclusión. En este contexto, se empleará un enfoque de investigación cualitativo, y se
llevará a cabo la indagación mediante la metodología de acción y colaboración, que tendrá
entrevistas con preguntas tanto cerradas como abiertas, debates en equipos y observación
continua de la competencia.
Los resultados de esta investigación resaltan el interés suscitado entre jóvenes, adultos,
docentes y directivos, así como la importancia de que las personas sin discapacidades auditivas
comprendan su valioso aporte para construir una sociedad más inclusiva. Además, se busca una
comprensión profunda de las considerables desventajas a las que se enfrentan las personas sordas
en diversos ámbitos sociales debido a la carencia de individuos capacitados en esta lengua. Esto
dificulta su pleno desarrollo como seres humanos.
En resumen, el proyecto "Lengua de Señas UNIMINUTO Inclusivo" tiene como
aspiración transformar la sede de la Universidad Minuto de Dios en Madrid en un espacio en el
cual el lenguaje de señas se convierte en un componente integral de la inclusión, contribuyendo
así a una sociedad más equitativa y justa.
The fundamental purpose of the research project called "Inclusive UNIMINUTO Sign Language" is to expand the opportunities for inclusion at the Universidad Minuto de Dios, thus seeking to make education accessible to all. At the Madrid campus of the university, the lack of knowledge in sign language has given rise to a problem in the inclusion of people with different abilities. The central question posed is: How to transform the headquarters of the Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios in Madrid into an inclusive environment that fully integrates sign language? From this premise, one of the primary objectives is to get to the heart of the problem in order to understand how to address it. The process involves the conception, evaluation, implementation and investigation of the results of the actions implemented to reduce the level of exclusion. In this context, a qualitative research approach will be employed, and the inquiry will be conducted using the action and collaboration methodology, which will have interviews with both closed and open-ended questions, team discussions and continuous observation of the competition_. The results of this research highlight the interest raised among young people, adults, teachers and managers, as well as the importance for people without hearing impairments to understand their valuable contribution to build a more inclusive society. In addition, a deep understanding is sought of the considerable disadvantages faced by deaf people in various social settings due to the lack of individuals trained in this language. This hinders their full development as human beings. la comunidad educativa y profesorado de la Universidad Minuto de Dios, Sede Madrid, en
colaboración con el Instituto Nacional para Sordos (INSOR).
