Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación aborda las narrativas de legitimación del maltrato infantil en el municipio de Girardota Antioquia, lugar en el cual entre diciembre de 2021 y marzo de 2023 se reportaron y tramitaron 286 casos de violencia en contra de niños, niñas y adolescentes. La investigación revela las narrativas legitimantes utilizadas por los adultos maltratantes convencidos de que es la única y mejor manera de amar y educar, perpetuando conductas violentas con fines aparentemente positivos para el desarrollo de los niños. Se expondrá cómo los Niños, Niñas y Adolescentes -NNA- en su búsqueda de amor y seguridad, terminan interpretando los actos violentos como muestras de afecto. Entendiendo esta distorsión como una consecuencia de la legitimación que se produce debido a la falta de modelos adecuados de crianza y de un entorno propicio para el sano desarrollo emocional. Mediante este estudio, se pretende generar conciencia sobre las narrativas de legitimación del maltrato infantil y resaltar la importancia de fomentar entornos seguros y modelos de crianza saludables, con el fin de proteger y promover el bienestar de los niños, niñas y adolescentes en el municipio de Girardota, Antioquia.
This research work addresses the narratives of legitimization of child abuse in the municipality of Girardota Antioquia, a place where between December 2021 and March 2023. Between December 2021 and March 2023, 286 cases of violence against children and adolescents were reported and processed. The research reveals the legitimizing narratives used by adults, convinced that this is the only and best way to love and educate, perpetuating violent behaviors with apparently positive ends for children's development. It will be shown how children and adolescents, in their search for love and security, end up interpreting violent acts as signs of affection. This distortion is understood as a consequence of the legitimization produced by the lack of adequate parenting models and an Appropriate environment for healthy emotional development to healthy emotional development. Through this study, we seek to raise awareness about the narratives of legitimization of child abuse and highlight the importance of promoting safe environments and healthy parenting models, in order to protect and promote the wellbeing of children and adolescents in the municipality of Girardota.
