Abstract
El objetivo del presente estudio es indagar cuales son las causas principales por las cuales se dan las rupturas amorosas en parejas de modelos webcam, abordando un fenómeno contemporáneo que ha surgido con la creciente popularidad de las plataformas de transmisión en vivo y las relaciones sentimentales de las modelos webcam. Este estudio se centra en comprender los desafíos emocionales y psicológicos a los que se enfrentan las modelos webcam en su búsqueda de intimidad con sus parejas y la cosificación del cuerpo a través de la web.
La investigación que se ha desarrollado es de tipo cualitativa, enfocado en el estudio de caso intrínseco, realizado con una muestra de 5 mujeres, modelos nudistas que se encuentran entre edades de 18 a 26 años. La técnica utilizada fue el grupo focal y como instrumento la entrevista abierta. En donde se obtuvo una visión más profunda de sus experiencias. Se revela que las modelos webcam a menudo experimentan altos niveles de estrés y ansiedad debido a la naturaleza competitiva de la industria, la necesidad de mantener una imagen idealizada y la presión para generar ingresos. Esto puede conducir a problemas de salud mental, incluyendo la
depresión.
Se demostró, que esta tesis arroja luz sobre un tema poco explorado: las relaciones sentimentales de las modelos webcam y los desafíos que enfrentan en términos de estrés, depresión y cosificación del cuerpo a través de las experiencias de las participantes.
The objective of the present study is to investigate the main causes of breakups in couples of webcam models, addressing a contemporary phenomenon that has emerged with the growing popularity of live streaming platforms and romantic relationships. webcam models. This study focuses on understanding the emotional and psychological challenges that webcam models face in their search for intimacy with their partners and the objectification of the body through the web. The research that has been developed is qualitative, focused on the intrinsic case study, carried out with a sample of 5 women, nudist models who are between the ages of 18 and 26. The technique used was the focus group and the open interview as an instrument. Where a deeper insight into their experiences was obtained. It is revealed that webcam models oftenexperience high levels of stress and anxiety due to the competitive nature of the industry, the need to maintain an idealized image, and the pressure to generate income. This can lead to mental health problems, including depression. It was demonstrated that this thesis sheds light on a little explored topic: the romantic relationships of webcam models and the challenges they face in terms of stress, depression and objectification of the body through the experiences of the participants.
