Abstract
Con el presente trabajo de investigación se buscó identificar los principales factores que influyen en la vulneración del derecho a la educación de los niños acogidos en un hogar de paso de la ciudad de Medellín. Este comprendió diversos procesos como la conceptualización teórica a partir de la vulneración del derecho a la educación para la recolección de información, a través del paradigma de investigación cualitativa con diferentes técnicas como la observación estructurada a los niños y entrevistas a diferentes colaboradores involucrados de manera directa como, formadoras y la defensora de familia del Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar (ICBF), que al ser analizados arrojaron unos hallazgos que muestran falencias en el proceso educativo de los niños y adolescentes debido a la interrupción que se maneja en sus procesos. Gracias al método cualitativo etnográfico utilizado en este trabajo, se conoce que estas poblaciones presentan características especiales como lo es la vulneración de su derecho a la educación y por ende requieren de atención especial donde se aborden todas sus necesidades, desde el acompañamiento y la orientación intencionada, hasta las metodologías implementadas desde el área pedagógica.
With the present research, we sought to identify the main factors that influence the violation of the right to education of children in foster home in the city of Medellín, this included various processes such as theoretical conceptualization from the violation of the right to education for the collection of information, through the paradigm of qualitative research with different techniques such as structured observation of children and interviews with different collaborators directly involved as trainers and the family advocate of the Colombian Welfare Institute Familiar (ICBF), which, when analyzed, yielded findings that show flaws in the educational process of children and adolescents due to the interruption that is handled in their processes. Thanks to the ethnographic qualitative method used in this work, it is known that these populations have special characteristics such as the violation of their right to education and therefore require special attention where all their needs are addressed, from accompaniment and intentional guidance, up to the methodologies implemented from the pedagogical area. Well, as the treaty of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child (UN, 1989) says, the need to provide children with care and assistance due to vulnerability must be incorporated and reaffirmed. On the other hand, from the investigative work; An intervention proposal was designed with which it is intended to contribute positively in the methods and the pedagogical tools that are implemented in these homes of passage are conceived with greater importance since it is from the knowledge and the pedagogical task, where the main foundations of training given to children and in vulnerable conditions are the adequate orientation and accompaniment so that the process of restoring their 8 rights is carried out in the best way and that these factors external to their development do not generate negative consequences in their learning processes and training for life.
