Abstract
En este proyecto de investigación se aborda el tema de cómo la danza y el teatro aporta al tejido
social y la construcción de la paz, debido a que observa una cultura institucional debilitada en cuanto a
convivencia escolar por la no promoción de prácticas artísticas que permitan diferentes expresiones
humanas, la validación de intereses y motivación al autoconocimiento.
El objetivo general de esta investigación fue Analizar como la danza y el teatro aporta al tejido
social y la construcción de la paz en estudiantes del grado 3° del colegio Jesús María. Para lo cual se
planteó una metodología cualitativa con un diseño metodológico de investigación acción participativa a
partir de la cual se describieron los cambios en la convivencia escolar a partir de dichas expresiones
artísticas; para ello se utilizó la observación, la encuesta y los grupos focales.
De acuerdo con el análisis realizado se puede concluir que la danza y el teatro aportan a la
potenciación de valores humanos, a manifestación de emociones y a la resolución de conflictos al
interior y fuera del aula. El personal docente concuerda en que estrategias desde la danza y el teatro
permite una nueva forma de expresión y construcción de convivencia y paz.
This research project addresses the issue of how dance and theater contribute to the social fabric and peace building, due to the fact that the institutional culture is weakened in terms of school coexistence by not promoting artistic practices that allow different human expressions, the validation of interests and motivation to self-knowledge. The general objective of this research was to analyze how dance and theater contribute to the social fabric and the construction of peace in 3rd grade students of Jesús María school. For this purpose, a qualitative methodology with a methodological design of participatory action research was used to describe the changes in school coexistence based on these artistic expressions; for this purpose, observation, survey and focus groups were used. According to the analysis carried out, it can be concluded that dance and theater contribute to the enhancement of human values, to the expression of emotions and to the resolution of conflicts inside and outside the classroom. The teaching staff agrees that dance and theater strategies allow for a new form of expression and the construction of coexistence and peace.
