Abstract
Este trabajo de investigación busca encontrar en la Institución Educativa Diego Echavarría Misas, los factores más relevantes que originan la exclusión en el currículo del área de Educación artística, a la vez de una serie de observaciones en campo que den razón de las situaciones por las cuales ocurren. La importancia del área artística radica en el protagonismo que la dirección docente, los estudiantes y el resto de la comunidad académica que lo configuran en sus planes de estudio y desde allí se implementa bajo estrategias específicas. Los lineamientos curriculares del área de artística, están amparados por la ley General de Educación 115 y es así como se fortalece el área y se orienta el aprendizaje transversal y significativo de cada estudiante.
This research work seeks to find in the educational institution Diego Echavarría Misas all those factors that originate the exclusion in the curriculum of the institution, at the same time of a series of observations in the field that give reason of the reasons why they happen. The importance of the artistic area lies in the protagonism that the teaching directors, students and the rest of the academic community configure it in their curricula and from there, it is implemented under specific strategies. The artistic curricular guidelines are protected by the law in Colombia and this is how the area is strengthened and the cross-cutting and significant learning is oriented to each student.
