Abstract
Para la siguiente investigación experimental se procuró determinar la finalidad de cómo influye la ceniza de cascarilla de arroz en el comportamiento físico de una muestra de suelo natural virgen, adicionándole entre 10 y el 15 por ciento de ceniza de cascarilla de arroz modificando las propiedades de resistencia y así tratar de estabilizarlo. Mediante el uso de este aditivo agroindustrial, se analizará si se puede mejorar la subrasante de dicho suelo arcilloso. Esta investigación de modelo aplicada, de enfoque cuantitativo desea explicar, comprobar y analizar el mejoramiento que se le puede brindar al suelo arcilloso de la población determinada del municipio de Girardot Cundinamarca, tomando como base la norma INVIAS-13 en la ejecución de los laboratorios requeridos para conocer las propiedades de la muestra de suelo natural virgen con la modificación de la ceniza de cascarilla de arroz. Dichos laboratorios que se realizaron fueron:
1. Granulometría
2. Limite liquido
3. Limite plástico
4. Índice de plasticidad
5. Ensayo proctor modificado
6. Resistencia inconfinada
Luego de la evaluación de los resultados obtenidos se comparan los datos de los ensayos y se determina si puede ser competitivo el uso de este desecho en la industria y seleccionar posibles alternativas diferentes a las que ya están.
In the present experimental research we tried to determine the purpose of the influence of rice husk ash on the physical behavior of a sample of virgin natural soil, adding between 10 and 15 percent of rice husk ash modifying the resistance properties and thus try to stabilize it. Through the use of this agro-industrial additive, it will be analyzed if the subgrade of said clay soil can be improved. This applied model research, with a quantitative approach, wishes to explain, verify and analyze the improvement that can be provided to the clay soil of the determined population of the municipality of Girardot Cundinamarca, taking into account the INVIAS-13 standard in the execution of the laboratories required to know the properties of the sample of virgin natural soil with the addition of rice husk ash. These laboratories that were carried out were: 1. Granulometry 2. Liquid limit 3. Plastic limit 4. Plasticity index 5. Modified proctor test 6. Unconfined resistance 7. After the evaluation of the results obtained, the data of the tests are compared and it is determined if the use of this waste in the industry can be competitive and select possible alternatives different from those that are already there.

Evaluar el comportamiento físico del terreno arcilloso presente en la vía de la urbanización Villa Cecilia del municipio de Girardot entre los puntos 4.310194 N, -74.817322 W y 4.310831 N, -74.817816 W, modificando este con ceniza de cascarilla de arroz.
