Abstract
In the present work you will find an alternative for the use of recycled rubber grain (GCR) as a modified material on an asphalt mixture. It should be clarified that this waste is one of the main pollutants in some areas of the country, as is the case of Bogotá as indicated (BOGOTÁ, 2019). The objective is to take advantage of this solid waste since it is a polluting material but, through a specific process of crushing and controlled grinding, the damage to the environment will be reduced. The research consists of managing the (GCR) for the analysis and elaboration of briquettes from the resistance tests, where the dosage results will be obtained, and a comparison will be made to establish a defined mix design and decide its viability for the implementation of is under construction of pavement structures in the future. the manufacture of 8 samples was carried out; which (2) design briquettes do not contain GCR, (2) with dosages of 10%, 25% and 50% of GCR for a total of (6) briquettes that contain the granular material, the briquettes were developed under the technical guidelines of Marshall Tests and Indirect Traction by dry way, to respond in terms of viability and future establishment using GCR as an aggregate, in this construction process the resistance, deformation and efforts capable of withstanding were verified.
