Abstract
En la actualidad el mundo está atravesando por la cuarta revolución industrial, una era digital que ha permeado todas las esferas de la vida y ha impulsado transformaciones en el ámbito, económico, social y educativo. Teniendo en cuenta este fenómeno social, esta investigación se trazó como objetivo, analizar la incidencia de la cuarta revolución industrial, en la formación de los estudiantes de los programas de pregrados de Uniminuto seccional Bello. La investigación que aquí se presenta, tuvo como referencia el enfoque investigativo cualitativo, haciendo uso de técnicas como la entrevista semiestructurada y la revisión documental. Este trabajo de grado arrojó entre sus principales resultados, el reconocimiento de algunos de los desafíos a los que se enfrenta la Uniminuto seccional Bello, en el marco de la cuarta revolución industrial, tanto a nivel de la pertinencia de la estructura curricular de los programas de pregrado, como la necesidad de una actualización y formación permanente en temas de la industrial 4.0 para los docentes. La pandemia que vive hoy la humanidad, ha visibilizado grandes oportunidades y retos para la educación superior, así mismo, ha generado la necesidad de pensar en la pertinencia y urgencia de una trasformación educativa, que pueda dar respuesta a un mundo globalizado inmerso en la cuarta revolución industrial.
Currently, world is facing the fourth industrial revolution, a digital age that has touched all the spheres of life and has driven to transformations in matters of economy, society, and education. Knowing this social phenomena, this research has purposed to itself as an objective to analyze de incidence of the fourth industrial revolution in the formative processes of bachelor degree students of the Uniminuto seccional Bello. The research presented here was based on a qualitative research approach, making use of techniques such as semi-structured interviews and documentary review. Among the main results of this thesis, the recognition of some of the challenges faced by Uniminuto Seccional Bello, in the framework of the fourth industrial revolution, both at the level of the relevance of the curricular structure of the bachelor degree programs, and the need for updating and permanent training in industrial 4.0 topics for teachers. The pandemic that the humanity is living today, has made visible great opportunities and challenges for the higher education, and has generated the need to think about the relevance and the urgency of an educative transformation able to give an answer to the globalized world immerse in the fourth industrial revolution.
