Abstract
La comprensión lectora desde ámbito educativo es una habilidad que se va adquiriendo y desarrollando día tras día y con la cual las personas pueden obtener y mejorar sus resultados cognitivos a nivel general, construyendo nuevos significados y representaciones mentales, lo cual se ve reflejado también en mejores resultados académicos y mayor interacción social. En esta investigación se propuso determinar la efectividad de las pruebas de fluidez lectora en los resultados de la comprensión en los estudiantes de grado cuarto de la jornada mañana de la Institución Educativa el Bosque del Municipio de Soacha, teniendo en cuenta que, los niños en su etapa escolar principalmente en la educación primaria, están en un momento fundamental para adquirir y desarrollar su proceso lector y habilidades fundamentales como la automatización de la lectura y la comprensión textual, llevándolos a el ejercicio constante de analizar para poder desarrollar tareas argumentativas e interpretativas en búsqueda de constantes soluciones.
