Abstract
El presente trabajo es una investigación de tipo cuantitativo no experimental, de corte transversal y alcance descriptivo correlacional conto con la participación de 2.405 sujetos de quienes se obtuvieron los resultados de la prueba de estado Saber 11, del análisis de dichos datos se encontró una relación entre el hecho de estudiar en un colegio bilingüe y el desempeño superior en las cinco competencias que evalúa el examen, también se encontró diferencias por sexo en los resultados en algunos casos a favor de mujeres y en otros casos a favor de hombres.
Gardner en 2011 postula que la inteligencia está segmentada contrario a como lo entendió la psicología clásica por mucho tiempo asumiendo dicho proceso como una única medida definida por el CI. En la actualidad, gracias a dicho postulado se puede hablar de aproximadamente ocho tipos de inteligencia donde se encuentran la inteligencia intrapersonal, interpersonal, naturalista, corporal, musical, viso espacial, la inteligencia lingüística y la inteligencia lógico-matemática.
The present work is an investigation of a non-experimental quantitative type, of crosssectional and correlational descriptive scope, with the participation of 2,405 subjects, from whichone the results of the Saber 11 state test were obtained. From the analysis of data a relationship was found between studying in a bilingual school and superior performance in the five competences assessed by the exam, differences were also found by sex in the results in some cases in favor of women and in other cases in favor of men Key words: bilingualism, cognition, education, academic skills.
