Abstract
La presente investigación se llevó a cabo en la Fundación Fuente de Esperanza
(Fundafe) del municipio de Tabio, Cundinamarca, con el propósito de conocer las
principales prácticas de responsabilidad social de la organización y comprender las
acciones que se implementan al interior de la misma, buscando así, la optimización de
los procesos internos y la vinculación al Desarrollo Sostenible, mediante la articulación
de las dimensiones económico, social y ambiental y adoptando prácticas que se
mantengan a lo largo del tiempo y que no afecten a futuro.
Esta investigación permitió identificar las principales dimensiones planteadas por la ISO
26000 que pueden ser útiles y eficaces para mejorar notablemente el modelo social de
Fundafe y la vinculación al desarrollo sostenible dentro de la misma y en el contexto en
la que se desarrolla.
Para ello, se realizó una investigación descriptiva, tipo estudio de caso y de enfoque
cualitativo, cuyos resultados fueron tomados del análisis de la aplicación de
instrumentos de recolección de información, que permitieron identificar las principales
dimensiones afectadas en la Fundación, y partir de esto, se planteó desde la Gerencia
Social, una propuesta de planeación estratégica, siendo está la más pertinente, para
mejorar las prácticas de responsabilidad social de Fundafe y una vez implementada en
la organización, se lograría contar con financiadores estratégicos potenciales, que
generen las condiciones de mayor cobertura de prótesis a beneficiarios en condición de
vulnerabilidad
The research was done at “Fundación Fuente de Esperanza (Fundafe)” located in Tabio, Cundinamarca, Colombia. The objective was to explore the practices regarding Fundafe's corporate social responsibility and the implementation of those actions in order to enhance the internal processes at Fundafe, connect them to sustainable development including the social, economic and environmental dimensions, and adapt the practices in a short and long term without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. The the investigation had identified the main features proposed by ISO 26000 which can be useful and effective to improve significantly the social model at Fundafe's regarding its sustainable development and its surroundings. A descriptive investigation was applied utilizing a case study and collecting qualitative data from the instruments used. The results were analyzed to identify the main areas affected at Fundafe. Consequently, a strategic planning was proposed based on Social Management to improve effectively the execution of practices in regards to corporate social responsibility at Fundafe. Consequently, potential funding will be found generating a higher coverage of prosthesis to beneficiaries who had a vulnerable condition.
