Abstract
La presente investigación precisa elaborar probetas de concreto utilizando residuos de
construcción y demolición – RCD - muestras de cilindros de concreto tomados en obra y fallados
en laboratorios para su aprovechamiento en la fabricación de adoquines de uso peatonal en el
municipio de Girardot, este proyecto emerge en el marco del semillero de investigación
denominado Semillero de Investigación de Materiales Sustentables en la Construcción -
SIMATSCON de la Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios, sede Cundinamarca, Centro
Regional Girardot, enfocado en la investigación de materiales reciclables hacia la conservación
del medioambiente. Para lograr los objetivos planteados se emplea una metodología de tipo
descriptiva, con un enfoque mixto; cualitativo y cuantitativo, para la intervención del proyecto se
establecieron 3 fases para el desarrollo de los procesos y procedimientos en la elaboración de tres
(3) probetas con los residuos de construcción y demolición – RCD (muestras de cilindros de
concreto). Igualmente, se determinó el asentamiento del concreto con el ensayo de slump, y se
realizó la prueba de resistencia a la compresión de las probetas cilíndricas. Conforme a los
resultados, se resaltar que se puede utilizar las muestras de cilindros de concreto recolectadas en
laboratorios de concreto, para la fabricación de adoquines de uso peatonal e incentivar el
aprovechamiento de estos residuos de construcción.
The present investigation requires the elaboration of concrete specimens using construction and demolition residues - RCD - samples of concrete cylinders taken on site and failed in laboratories for their use in the manufacture of paving stones for pedestrian use in the municipality of Girardot, this project emerges in the framework of the research seedbed called Sustainable Materials in Construction Research Seedbed - SIMATSCON of the Minuto de Dios University Corporation, Cundinamarca headquarters, Girardot Regional Center, focused on the research of recyclable materials towards the conservation of the environment. To achieve the proposed objectives, a descriptive methodology is used, with a mixed approach; Qualitative and quantitative, for the intervention of the project, 3 phases were established for the development of processes and procedures in the elaboration of three (3) test tubes with construction and demolition waste - RCD (concrete cylinder samples). Likewise, the concrete slump was determined with the slump test, and the compressive strength test of the cylindrical specimens was carried out. According to the results, it should be noted that the samples of concrete cylinders collected from the laboratory can be used for the manufacture of paving stones for pedestrian use and encourage the use of these construction waste.
