Community Tourism in Colombia as Progress in the Post-conflict

Abstract

The tourist activity has supposed, during the last decades, a new way in which the territories and Nations can prosper, this through the use of the diverse cultural, historical, patrimonial and natural resources. In Colombia, Tourism has allowed the growth and development of the communities, which manage to benefit from being an active part of the tourist activity; in the midst of a transition from the ceasefire to the peace process that has been implemented in Colombia. The investment, on the part of various organizations, on the tourist practice, can suppose an advance in the matter of prosperity, social cohesion, reintegration and maintenance of Peace and agreements  in the Colombian territory.

La actividad turística ha supuesto, durante las últimas décadas, una nueva forma en que los territorios y Naciones pueden prosperar, esto a través del uso de los diversos recursos culturales, históricos, patrimoniales y naturales. En Colombia, el Turismo ha permitido el crecimiento y desarrollo de las comunidades, las cuales logran beneficiarse siendo parte activa de la actividad turística; en medio de una transición del cese al fuego, hasta el proceso de paz que ha venido implementándose en Colombia.  La inversión, por parte de diversos organismos, sobre la práctica turística, puede suponer un avance en materia de prosperidad, cohesión social, reintegración y mantenimiento de la Paz y los acuerdos en el territorio colombiano.
