Prevención del maltrato infantil: una labor a emprender desde la educación inicial

Abstract

Abstract Physical emotional and sexual abuses as well as negligence are scourges that destroy the life of a human being in many cases perpetuated by people very close to the victim. Hence, the objective of this article is to encourage reflection in pedagogues and children pedagogues in light of their important work and commitment in training the future of society: our children, free from physical, emotional and sexual abuse. The pedagogue and the child pedagogue in their work to help the integral formation of the child, plays an important and decisive role to stop the abuse and mistreatment of the child. Ignorance and silence become one of the best accomplices that prevent eradicating this problem that continues to affect humanity. Reporting opportunely any case to the competent authorities, helps to break the chain of violence.

El maltrato físico, emocional y sexual, así como la negligencia, son flagelos que destruyen la vida del ser y en muchos de los casos son perpetuados por personas muy cercanas a la víctima. De ahí que el objetivo de este artículo sea propiciar la reflexión en pedagogas y pedagogos infantiles frente a su importante labor y compromiso en la formación del futuro de la sociedad: nuestras niñas y niños libres de abuso y maltrato físico, emocional y sexual. El pedagogo y la pedagoga infantil en su labor de ayudar a la formación integral del infante cumplen un papel importante y decisivo para frenar el abuso y maltrato del menor. La ignorancia y el silencio se convierten en uno de los mejores cómplices que impiden erradicar este problema que continua afectando a la humanidad. Informar y denunciar oportunamente cualquier caso ante las autoridades competentes ayuda a romper la cadena de violencia.
