dc.descriptionThe present paper shows, in the first instance, the birth of the university as a meeting space for the universality of knowledge, cultures, religions, and people. In a second moment, it refers to the creation of a university, conceived in the mind and heart of Father Rafael García Herreros, who bets on the transformation of the country through a different university with great purposes. In a third and last moment, it is exposed how in UNIMINUTO the university pastoral has made possible the dialogue faith-science, faith-culture (digital era). It is hoped that this reflection continues promoting in the university the necessary and fruitful dialogue between faith, knowledge and culture. From this, will surely emerge the peace so longed for in the country and, why not say it, in the world.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este escrito se da cuenta en primera instancia del nacimiento de la universidad como espacio de encuentro de la universalidad del conocimiento, de las culturas, de las religiones, de las personas. En un segundo momento, refiere a la creación de una universidad que se gestó en la mente y corazón del padre Rafael García Herreros, quien apostó a la trasformación del país mediante una universidad distinta con propósitos grandiosos. En un tercer y último momento, se expone cómo en UNIMINUTO la pastoral universitaria ha posibilitado el diálogo fe-ciencia, fe-cultura (era digital). Se espera esta reflexión siga impulsando en la universidad el tan necesario y fecundo diálogo entre la fe, el conocimiento y la cultura. De ello de seguro brotará la paz tan anhelada en el país y, por qué no decirlo, en el mundo.es-ES
