Analysis of youth unemployment in the Municipality of Soacha, causes and effects

Abstract

The present investigation takes as its main axis youth unemployment and its consequences at the regional level, having as its central point the municipality of Soacha; This research was born in order to identify alternatives that counteract this problem and its consequences such as school dropout, vandalism, SPA consumption, decrease in purchasing power in the future, migration of skilled labor and economic and industrial delay in the territory. It is then, where the research team proposes to carry out a descriptive investigation, which will analyze the problem based on the qualitative characteristics and statistical data that allow to visualize its growth in the municipality; therefore, three stages were established for the research method that are bibliographic review, field work and analysis of information and proposals; It should be noted that this research is in the second stage, however, it has been possible to visualize some coherent results to this phenomenon.

La presente investigación toma como eje principal el desempleo juvenil y sus consecuencias a nivel regional, teniendo como punto central el municipio de Soacha; esta investigación nace con el fin de identificar alternativas que contrarreste dicha problemática y sus consecuencias tales como la deserción escolar, vandalismo, consumo SPA, disminución del poder adquisitivo en el futuro, migración de la mano de obra calificada y el retraso económico e industrial en el territorio. Es entonces, donde el equipo investigador propone realizar una investigación descriptiva, que analizará el problema con base a las características cualitativas y datos estadísticos que permitan visualizar su crecimiento en el municipio; por lo tanto, se establecieron tres etapas para el método investigativo que son revisión bibliográfica, trabajo de campo y análisis de la información y propuestas; cabe resaltar que la presente investigación se encuentra en segunda etapa, no obstante, se ha podido visualizar algunos resultados coherentes a este fenómeno.
