Title:	El reciclaje, una estrategia de educación ambiental socialmente responsable

Description:	This article presents the research process that was carried out in the Departmental Educational Institution Bolívar, headquarters of the municipality of Ubaté, Cundinamarca. The project is oriented to the study of the situation related to the integral management of solid waste produced within the school context, where it is evident that the misuse and inadequate handling of waste goes against human rights. The Political Constitution of Colombia stablishes “the right of a healthy and dignified environment”, which indicates that the presented problem is not alien or invisible to the co-responsibility that concerns us as citizens and professionals of the Bachelor degree in Child Pedagogy. Therefore, we must be able to strengthen inquiry processes that help to understand more accurately and directly the different situations presented in the Educational Institution. Generating didactic, playful pedagogical strategies that allow the generation of positive thinking and responsible environmental behavior. In this way, the school is promoting activities that contribute significantly to care, protection of the environment and the school context, seeking to raise awareness about it through environmental education El presente artículo presenta el proceso de investigación que se llevó a cabo en la Institución Educativa Departamental Bolívar, sede central del municipio de Ubaté, Cundinamarca. El proyecto se orienta al estudio de la situación relacionada con el manejo integral de los residuos sólidos producidos dentro del contexto escolar, donde se evidencia que el equívoco e inadecuado manejo de los residuos va en contravía de los derechos humanos, donde se contraviene el derecho establecido en la Constitución Política de Colombia a “un ambiente sano y digno”, lo que indica que la problemática presentada no es ajena ni invisible a la corresponsabilidad que nos atañe como ciudadanos y profesionales de Licenciatura en Pedagogía Infantil. Debemos, por tanto, estar capacitados para fortalecer procesos investigativos que ayuden a comprender de manera más precisa y directa las diferentes situaciones presentadas en la Institución Educativa, por medio de estrategias didácticas, lúdico-pedagógicas que permitan generar construcción positiva de pensamiento y un comportamiento ambiental responsable, de tal manera que desde el ámbito escolar se promuevan actividades que aporten de manera significativa al cuidado, protección del medio ambiente y por ende del contexto escolar, buscando generar sensibilización al respecto por medio de la educación ambiental.
