Description:	This paper includes some reflections about education in technology from a critical review of what has been its development in our country. It starts of what I think were utopias and characterized a first moment of conception of what should be the technology education in school. Following is a description of some of the ways that they have run in more than fifteen years of presence of technology as an object of study and compulsory basic area in the national curriculum. En este artículo se recogen algunas reflexiones sobre la educación en tecnología, desde la revisión crítica de lo que ha sido su desarrollo en nuestro país. Se parte de lo que considero fueron utopías y que caracterizaron un primer momento de la concepción de lo que debería ser la educación en tecnología en la escuela. Luego, se hace la descripción de algunos de los caminos que se han recorrido en estos más de quince años de presencia de la tecnología como objeto de estudio y área obligatoria y fundamental en el currículo nacional.
