Para terminar, este estudio muestra las áreas de trabajo de la Investigación para la Paz y las tendencias actuales que la guían. This review article presents a brief look at the scientific discipline called Peace Research. The work is an approach to the discipline. First, there is an examination of its component characteristics. Second, there is an analysis of its historical evolution since its inception in the early twentieth century to nowadays. Finally, this study shows the work areas of the Peace Research and those trends that guide it.
