| Description: | The authors contend that as o result of both the evolutionary process - phylogenetic approach, and of the development as a unique individual ontogenetic approach, the human being is to be considered in his threefold dimension: biological, psychological and social. However, the market economy, by emphasizing o pragmatic view in the organizational milieu, scales down these complex dimensions reducing the individual to a mere mean of production, and depriving him from his historical framework and role: pursuing human welfare. El propósito de este artículo es mostrar como en el proceso de evolución de la especie humana-perspectivo filogenética, y como individuo único-perspectiva ontogénetica-, es pertinente estudiar al ser humano en tres dimensiones, esto es, la dimensión biológica, psíquica y social. Sin embargo, la economía de mercado en el ámbito organizacional ha desarrollado un pragmatismo utilitarista a nivel de las ciencias de la gestión donde el individuo constituye un instrumento de producción, este tipo de prácticos reduccionistas de la administración descontextualizan al sujeto de su entorno histórico, negándole el papel que debe cumplir históricamente: gestionar el bienestar de la humanidad. |
