dc.description.abstract | En la última década existe un creciente interés a nivel mundial por la Educación para el Desarrollo Sostenible (EDS) como factor determinante de la educación de calidad y del desarrollo sostenible. En el plano actual de la educación colombiana, la educación STEM se promueve como una alternativa para mejorar la educación a través de la integración de ciencia, tecnología, ingeniería y matemática. El objetivo de esta investigación es describir de qué manera la educación STEM permite contribuir al desarrollo de competencias para la sostenibilidad. El estudio se realizó en dos colegios de Cundinamarca, uno ubicado en la ciudad de Bogotá y otro en el municipio Madrid, en los cuales se implementó el programa de educación STEM MD Robotics de UNIMINUTO, durante el año 2019 y 2020. | - |
dc.description.abstract | During the last decade there has been a growing worldwide interest in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) as a determining factor for quality education and sustainable development. At the current level of Colombian education, STEM education is promoted as an alternative to improve education through the integration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The objective of this research is to describe how STEM education contributes to the competencies development for sustainability. The study was carried out in two schools in Cundinamarca, one located in the city of Bogotá and the other in the Madrid municipality, in which the UNIMINUTO STEM MD Robotics education program was implemented, during 2019 and 2020. | - |
