Abstract
El cuidado y la protección del medio ambiente se han acentuado en los últimos años, gracias a la intervención de la ONU (Organizaciones De las Naciones Unidas). Diversos estudios comprueban que la situación ambiental actual es crítica, como una medida de mitigar dicha problemática se establecieron a nivel mundial; los objetivos del desarrollo sostenible (ODS), para dar cumplimiento a diversas metas que tienen como principal finalidad reducir la crisis ambiental, dichos objetivos tienen como plazo de vigencia hasta el 2030. En la actualidad existe una tendencia para la construcción sustentable, que implica la utilización de materiales producidos con bajo consumo de energía y como es materia prima, esta debe provenir de residuos o subproductos de fábricas industriales.
Fabricar un ladrillo a base de PVC reciclado fue el objetivo principal de esta investigación que posteriormente se evaluó su comportamiento físico-mecánico, con respecto a su resistencia. Estos bloques presentan características del tipo liviano que se ajustan a la normatividad vigente del país, así mismo se reducen los costos de fabricación y mitigan el impacto ambiental.

Various studies prove that the current environment is critical, as a measure to mitigate this problem, they were established worldwide; The objectives of sustainable development (SDG), to comply with various goals whose main purpose is to reduce the environmental crisis, these objectives have a term of validity until 2030. Currently there is a trend for sustainable construction, which implies the use of materials produced with low energy consumption and as raw material, this must come from waste or by-products of industrial factories. Manufacturing a brick based on recycled PVC was the main objective of this research, which subsequently evaluated its physical-mechanical behavior, with respect to its resistance. These blocks present characteristics of the light type that comply with the current regulations of the country, likewise, manufacturing costs are reduced and the environmental impact is mitigated.
