Abstract
Para el desarrollo de este proceso de investigación se propone un diseño metodológico cualitativo, que toma como base la etnografía; entendiendo que lo que se pretende es un ejercicio de investigación social donde confluyen diferentes técnicas de análisis, como historias de vida, entrevistas, grupos focales, entre otras que nos permitan comprender el contexto del barrio y sus habitantes. El ejercicio realizado adquiere importancia en la medida en que visibiliza y reconoce las prácticas populares. También permite que la comunidad conozca y se conecte con las prácticas tradicionales y populares, de esta manera se fomenta la apropiación de su territorio urbano, su identidad y desarrollo.
For the development of this research process, a qualitative methodological design is proposed, which takes up ethnography as its basis; this understanding that what is intended is a social investigative exercise where different analysis techniques converge, such as life stories, interviews, focus groups, among others that will allow us to understand the context of the neighborhood and its inhabitants. The exercise undertaken gains importance to the extent that it makes visible and recognizes the popular practices. It also enables the community to learn about and connect with traditional and popular practices, in this way, the appropriation of their urban territory, their identity and development is encouraged.
