Abstract
En la actualidad las construcciones son indispensables para el desarrollo socioeconómico
de un país, a lo largo de los años las construcciones también se han vuelto responsables de
los deterioros de los recursos naturales en el mundo; actualmente se vive una problemática
que hace necesario implementar una vivienda de interés social sostenible, sobre todo por
parte del Gobierno Nacional de Colombia. En la actualidad se han entregado
aproximadamente 85.000 viviendas de interés social a nivel nacional, en las cuales se han
implementado sistemas constructivos convencionales y no sistemas que incluyan
sostenibilidad. Por otra parte, en los países desarrollados existen políticas y sistemas de
construcción sostenibles estandarizados (LEED U.S.A) estos sistemas en Colombia se
están empezando a utilizar en construcciones de grandes magnitudes, pero no se han
implementado en viviendas de interés social, lo cual es viable y se pueden implementar
varios sistemas sostenibles como: materiales, residuos, energía, bioclimática, agua, etc.
Empero debido a la falta de conocimiento y de definición e interpretación de las normas
por parte de los entes encargados son escasas las edificaciones que los ponen en práctica,
es por lo que el presente proyecto pretende dar a conocer los sistemas sostenibles para una
vivienda de interés social y la importancia la pronta implementación de este.
