Abstract
En la actualidad el campo colombiano está surgiendo problemas por falta de apoyo económico y desplazamiento de los jóvenes a las metrópolis para obtener nuevas oportunidades, los productos sembrados por los campesinos dan un sustento según la cantidad y estacionalidad que se encuentra a lo largo del año, por lo tanto, es necesario generar y diversificar los ingresos por medio de la actividad turística como lo es el agroturismo. La investigación evidenció los beneficios económicos que han surgido por la práctica en las fincas Ceylan, Porvenir y Villa Falian, en la provincia Tequendama del departamento de Cundinamarca. La metodología utilizada es de carácter descriptiva con enfoque cualitativo para conocer e identificar los factores de influencia desde la variable económica y las características y motivaciones de la demanda para este tipo de actividad. El desarrollo del agroturismo en la región, es una oportunidad que genera ganancias económicas y creación de empleo, pero no sustituye su labor principal agropecuaria, su cultura hace parte fundamental de su oferta por medio de la historia y la gastronomía.
Currently, the Colombian countryside is experiencing problems due to the lack of economic support and the displacement of young people to the metropolises to obtain new opportunities. The products planted by the peasants provide a livelihood according to the quantity and seasonality found throughout the year. therefore, it is necessary to generate and diversify income through tourism, such as agrotourism. The investigation showed the economic benefits that have arisen from the practice in the Ceylan, Porvenir and Villa Falian farms, in the Tequendama province of the department of Cundinamarca. The methodology used is descriptive in nature with a qualitative approach to know and identify the influencing factors from the economic variable and the characteristics and motivations of the demand for this type of activity. The development of agrotourism in the region is an opportunity that generates economic gains and job creation, but does not replace its main agricultural work, its culture is a fundamental part of its offer through history and gastronomy.
