Therefore, spiritual guides (wizards, sorcerers, priests, etc.) political leaders (pharaohs, kings, emperors, dictators, etc.) or anyone who holds some power has been taking advantage of benefits in communication and expression art provides.In certain time the artist begins to step aside from this dependency, and is aware of the potential that art has by itself. After several centuries they enforce this condition becoming independent of these bonds, and proclaiming the autonomy of art. Creating harmony between the ways of thinking and understanding, that since the new aesthetic theories began to be made. El arte en su recorrido a lo largo de la historia de la humanidad, ha sido objeto de uso en beneficio de necesidades extra artísticas diferentes a su propia naturaleza y condición. Es así, como guías espirituales (magos, hechiceros, sacerdotes, etc.), jefes políticos (faraones, reyes, emperadores, dictadores, etc.), o cualquiera que ostente algún tipo de poder, ha puesto a su servicio las bondades y ventajas comunicativas y expresivas que éste brinda. Pero en determinada época, el hombre artista empieza a tomar distancia de esta servidumbre y germina en él la conciencia del potencial que tiene el arte por sí mismo, y tras un vasto periplo que abarca varios siglos, hace valer esta condición, llegando a independizar de estas ligaduras y proclamar la autonomía del arte, en armonía con las formas de pensamiento y entendimiento, que desde las nuevas teorías estéticas se empezaron a formular.
