Description:	This article is the product of research and implementation of the group of graduates from the faculty of education Uniminuto entitled “El cine foro como herramienta pedagógica para analizar la representación social del maestro”.In this sense, the article briefly displays the presentation of the project and the various theoretical and legal bases around the cine-foro as a pedagogical resource that permits to analyze the different representations of teacher. Consequently, these theoretical references (the projection of films and forums from a semiotic analysis of each study as the social context and social representation of teacher), are the result of the integration of mass media in a pedagogical context and it is taken the cine-foro as a pedagogical resource. That permits to think about the social representation that students have about the teacher. El artículo presentado es producto de la investigación e implementación del grupo de egresados de la Facultad de Educación de Uniminuto con título: “El cine foro como herramienta pedagógica para analizar la representación social del maestro”.En este sentido, el artículo exhibe brevemente la presentación del proyecto y las diferentes bases teóricas y legales en torno al cine foro como herramienta pedagógica que permite analizar las diferentes representaciones del maestro que evidenciaron los estudiantes del colegio Ciudad de Cali en Bogotá. En consecuencia, dichos referentes teóricos, la proyección de las películas y los foros a partir de un análisis semiótico de cada una de ellas al igual que el estudio del contexto social y representación social del maestro, dieron como resultado la integración de los medios masivos en el que hacer pedagógico y al mismo tiempo se logró posicionar el cine foro como herramienta pedagógica en la institución educativa, reflexionando respecto a la representación social que tienen los educandos hoy en día del maestro.
