Title:	Body and education at school Cuerpo y educación en la escuela

Description:	To think the human body means to give him the enough entity to value it and to locate it as outstanding element of knowledge. It is not possible to undertake a task of understanding about the human problems, without understanding that the body is the fundamental unit of a net of interdependent, fragile systems and of great complexity; in and of itself, the body should be matter of special learning and care from the first years of life. The article approaches the body-fellow’s importance in the education, proposal that it transcends the physical education and the artistic education, as supposed areas that are in charge of directly of the corporal question. Pensar el cuerpo humano significa darle la suficiente valoración para ubicarlo como elemento relevante de conocimiento. No es posible emprender una tarea de comprensión acerca de las problemáticas humanas, sin entender que el cuerpo es la unidad fundamental de una red de sistemas interdependientes, frágiles y de gran complejidad; por ello, el cuerpo debería ser asunto de especial aprendizaje y cuidado desde los primeros años de vida. Este artículo aborda la importancia del cuerpo-sujeto en la educación, propuesta que trasciende la educación física y la educación artística, como supuestas áreas que se ocupan directamente de la cuestión corporal.
