dc.description	El presente texto muestra de forma resumida los principales planteamientos de Tomas Hobbes sobre el nacimiento del Leviatán (libro II), entendido por el filósofo inglés como la autoridad a la cual se debe la paz entre los hombres por naturaleza egoístas. A partir de la distinción entre Estado de guerra y Estado Civil; la exposición de las leyes de naturaleza; y los principales planteamientos sobre el establecimiento y cumplimiento del contrato, se procederá a exponer mediante un ejemplo de la realidad colombiana que aun en la actualidad es posible encontrar al Leviatán que gobierna a través del miedo.	es-ES
dc.description	The present text shows in a summarized way the main proposals of Tomas Hobbes about Leviathan’s birth (Book II). The Leviathan is understood by the English philosopher as the authority to whom peace is due amongst men. It is selfish by nature. From the distinction between the State of war and the Civil State; the exposure to the nature laws; and the main approaches about the establishment and the contract compliance, I will proceed to expose through a case of the Colombian political reality in which currently it is possible to find the Leviathan that governs through fear.	en-US
