Aerocafé: Una Mirada Socioeconómica Competitiva para el Territorio

Abstract

La construcción del Aeropuerto del Café en Palestina-Caldas es un proyecto que tiene el potencial de generar un impacto positivo en el desarrollo socioeconómico de la región y puede facilitar el acceso a la región para turistas y negocios, lo que puede conducir a un aumento del crecimiento económico y de los ingresos. De ahí, que el objetivo de esta investigación se centrara en analizar el territorio de Palestina Caldas desde una mirada socioeconómica competitiva derivado del impacto ocasionado por la construcción del Aeropuerto del Café, que permita visualizar posibles alternativas de mejora. Para este análisis se compararon datos macroeconómicos, indicadores de competitividad, acceso a la salud, educación, empleo, vivienda y principales actividades económicas del territorio en dos momentos clave, el primero, cuando el proyecto consiguió presupuesto del Gobierno Nacional y Regional en 2021 y el segundo, entre 2022 y 2023, cuando las obras fueron suspendidas se nota la disminución de estos. La investigación se realizó con un enfoque cuantitativo de diseño no experimental con enfoque longitudinal, para medir el impacto del proyecto, utilizando bases porcentuales y bases de relación que permite obtener resultados confiables y significativos para el territorio. En resumen, los resultados del estudio sugieren que el Aeropuerto del Café tiene un impacto positivo en el desarrollo socioeconómico de la región y lo hace competitivo al generar empleo, motivar la capacitación personal y laboral, fomentar la creación de comercio y formalización de empresas. Sin embargo, esta se reduce significativamente cuando las obras son suspendidas.

The construction of the Café Airport in Palestine-Caldas is a project that has the 11 Abstrac potential to generate a positive impact on the socioeconomic development of the region and can facilitate access to the region for tourists and businesses, which can lead to an increase in economic and income growth. Hence, the objective of this research focused on analyzing the territory of Palestine Caldas from a competitive socioeconomic perspective derived from the impact caused by the construction of the Café Airport, which allows visualizing possible alternatives for improvement. For this analysis, macroeconomic data, competitiveness indicators, access to health, education, employment, housing and main economic activities of the territory were compared in two key moments, the first, when the project obtained a budget from the National and Regional Government in 2021 and the Second, between 2022 and 2023, when the works were suspended, the decrease in these was noticeable. The research was carried out with a quantitative approach of non-experimental design with a longitudinal approach, to measure the impact of the project, using percentage bases and relationship bases that allow obtaining reliable and significant results for the territory. In summary, the results of the study suggest that the Coffee Airport has a positive impact on the socioeconomic development of the region and makes it competitive by generating employment, motivating personal and job training, encouraging the creation of commerce and formalization of companies. However, this is significantly reduced when the works are suspended.
