Somos vórtice del tiempo

Abstract

Es el recorrido de una mariposa desapercibido y efímero, pero cuando se logra capturar la magia de sus aleteos surgen las memorias. A través de los hilos, se entrelazan las anécdotas de un ancestro, con los diálogos y reflexiones que surgieron a su alrededor. La influencia de algunos relatos de la mitología griega, se impregnan en los significados de las hebras para darles un sentido. Se teje la ancestralidad de los recuerdos alrededor de una instalación artística, junto con bordados y escritos que preservan la emotividad de un momento. Los elementos simbólicos y las narrativas evidencian el anhelo de recolectar las memorias de una persona (mi abuelita), para crear un vórtice en el tiempo, puente entre las generaciones pasadas y presentes.

It is the journey of a butterfly unnoticed and ephemeral, but when it is possible to capture the magic of its fluttering, memories arise. Through the threads, the anecdotes of an ancestor are intertwined, with the dialogues and reflections that emerged around him. The influence of some stories from Greek mythology, are impregnated in the meanings of the threads to give them sense. The ancestrality of memories is woven around an artistic installation, along with embroidery and writing that preserve the emotionality of a moment. The symbolic elements and the narratives demonstrate the desire to collect the memories of a person, my grandmother, to create a vortex in time, a bridge between past and present generations.
