Análisis del equipo arriostre para escaleras ase como alternativa del control de trabajo en alturas en postes con riesgo de colapso.

Abstract

Este trabajo de investigación es un aporte académico al sector eléctrico y de telecomunicaciones para el riesgo de alturas, el problema analizado atiende a la necesidad de controles de ingeniería para el acceso por escalera en el escenario donde se tengan postes de energía o telecomunicaciones con riesgo de colapso. El objetivo fue analizar la ficha técnica del dispositivo arriostre para escaleras ASE, los autores por medio de revisión teórica, referencial y encuestas con preguntas semiestructuradas recopilaron la información del representante del fabricante en Colombia sobre la aplicabilidad, dimensiones y costos de este equipo. Durante el proceso investigativo se identificaron varias fortalezas de este dispositivo que ofrece versatilidad en el acceso por escalera portátiles a fachadas y postes de forma segura además de una inversión en adquisición a bajo costo, también se detectaron algunos limitantes del equipo en las longitudes de las escaleras que se pueden acoplar, donde en el mejor de los casos se puede acceder hasta a 14 metros de altura desde la superficie del suelo, siendo esta opción no viable para todos los casos dado que inclusive algunas estructuras llegan en su punto más alto hasta los 16 metros. Se recomienda que cuando en Colombia se inicie la implementación de este equipo se pueda realizar un sondeo con los ejecutantes que permita recolectar evidencia del uso y permanencia como control para el riesgo en alturas o si amerita alguna adaptación por parte del fabricante.

This research work is an academic contribution to the electrical and telecommunications industry to the risk of heights, the analized matter is directing to the needs for access ladders engineering controls on stages where pylons or telecommunications with high risk of collapse/outages. The objective was to analyse the technical sheet of the arriostre device for ASE ladders, the creators by means of theoretical review, referential and some surveys with semi-structured questions collected the information from the manufacturer’s representative in Colombia on the applicability, dimensions and costs of this equipment. During the investigation process several strengths/features of this device were identified and that offers versatility in portable ladders access to front wallss and pylons safely besides to get a low-cost purchase investment. Some equipment limitations were also identified/ detected at the lengths of the ladders that can be coupled, where at best you can access up to 14 meters high from the ground surface, this option is not viable for all cases, since even some structures reach its highest point up to 16 meters. It is highly recommended that when the implementation of this equipment is starting in Colombia, a survey can be conducted with the executors to collect evidence of use and permanence as a risk control in heights or if it warrants any adaptation by the manufacturer.
