The author starts from distinction made to the city of Bogotá like Worldwide Capital of the book to analyze of critical way the problems that the reading like cultural exercise implies; for it he mentions specific cases of some nations in relation to this phenomenon. In sum, he tries to contribute to give more elements to the discussion on the promotion of the reading and the paper of the book in the construction of one better society proposing finally a challenge. |

El autor parte de la distinción hecha a la ciudad de Bogotá como Capital Mundial del Libro para analizar de manera crítica los problemas que implica la lectura como ejercicio cultural; para ello cita casos específicos de algunas naciones en relación con el mismo fenómeno. Se trata en suma de aportar más elementos a la discusión sobre la promoción de la lectura y el papel del libro en la construcción de una mejor sociedad proponiendo finalmente un reto. |
