arquitectura y costumbres |

From the field of Social Communication, it is considered appropriate to analyze what is
the current state of the social constructions that the inhabitants of Istanbul have over
Bogota and vice versa and the capacity of the photographic image as a possible tool for
modifying said social constructions. This in order to open a space that facilitates an
effective relationship for citizens of both cities and that generates opportunities for
educational, labor, economic and cultural internationalization.
The objective pursued in the present investigation is based on determining the
perception constructed from the social representations in the inhabitants of these two
cities through the observation, analysis of photographs and through interviews where
the real characteristics of its population are evidenced, architecture and customs. The
research methodology used is based on a qualitative analysis, based on a descriptive
research, supported by the images and data collection mentioned above.
The project is relevant within the context of the study and analysis of social
representations where the observation of images of real contexts from the field of
photography, contributes to the transformation of said representations. From a
perspective in the process of visual communication, the action begins when
mechanisms are created to promote a change of view, to establish this change is not
just about taking a picture and to intervene this picture, it is about being part of it , to
attribute an attribute to the message, according to Uranga (2012) when he says that the
communicator's responsibility is to collectively construct common senses (paragraph
26) that allow better understandings among people. |
