El siguiente trabajo plantea la incidencia que tienen las artes plásticas en la Adquisición de Hábitos Alimenticios Saludables en los Niños del Grado Kínder 5 del Colegio Cumbres Medellín, orientado desde una investigación con enfoque cualitativo y de tipo acción participativa quebusca analizar la incidencia de las artes plásticas en la adquisición de hábitos alimenticios saludables, a través de estrategias desdelas artesplásticas. Este estudio, se hace con niños entre los 5 y 6 años, sus padres de familia y los docentes del grupo. Se analizanlas dinámicas familiares e institucionales en los momentos de alimentación. Los resultados del estudio mostraron que en la institución se trabajan las actividades artísticas enfocadas hacialas manualidades y que no son transversales a otras actividades.En cuanto apadres de familia y docentes se observa quemuestran interés por aprender estrategias desde las artes plásticas para la adquisición de hábitos alimenticios conlos niños. Finalmentese concluye que, el arte plástico es el vehículo para potenciar la creatividad, sensibilidad, e imaginación de los niños, permitiendo descubrir posibilidades para disfrutar los alimentos y seleccionar los más nutritivos. Es pertinente fortalecer desde el arte plástico los hábitos alimenticios en la primera infancia, graciasa que en esta etapa se pueden instaurar conductas para el resto de su vida.
The following work presents the incidence that plastic arts have in the Acquisition of
Healthy Eating Habits, in Kinder fifth grade children of Cumbres School in Medellin, oriented
from a research with a qualitative approach and a participatory action type that seeks to analyze
the incidence of arts in the acquisition of healthy eating habits, through strategies from the plastic
arts.
This study is done with children between 5 and 6 years old, their parents and teachers of
the group. Family and institutional dynamics at feeding times are analyzed. The results of the
study showed that the institution works on artistic activities focused on crafts and that they are
not transversal to other activities.
Regarding to parents and teachers, it is observed that they show interest in learning
strategies from plastic arts for the acquisition of eating habits with children.
Finally, it is concluded that plastic art is the vehicle to enhance the creativity, sensitivity,
and imagination of children, allowing them to discover possibilities to enjoy food and select the
most nutritious. It is pertinent to strengthen eating habits in early childhood from plastic art, due
to the fact that at this stage behaviors can be established for the rest of their lives.
