Esta propuesta de intervención social tiene como objetivo disminuir los efectos físicos y emocionales que sufren las madres cuidadoras de niños, niñas y adolescentes de cáncer infantil. que se encuentran en cuidados paliativos en la fundación Funicáncer, utilizando herramientas de acompañamiento psicosocial, durante un periodo de ocho meses de marzo a noviembre del año 2022. La metodología está basada en la Teoría General de Sistemas, Método Integral y el Paradigma Interpretativo. El proyecto de intervención está dirigido a un grupo de doce madres cuidadoras, a quienes se les aplicó las técnicas encuesta y entrevista semiestructurada, donde se evidenció que son afectadas a nivel físico y emocional, durante el proceso de tratamiento de la enfermedad de sus hijos e hijas quienes oscilan en edades de 0 a 17 años provenientes de varios municipios de Antioquia y con condiciones de vulnerabilidad, pertenecientes a la fundación Funicáncer. En los resultados se espera disminuir los efectos físicos y emocionales que sufren las madres cuidadoras de niños, niñas y adolescentes. Así como proveerles de varias herramientas metodológicas como: Talleres reflexivos, cartografía corporal, mapa de sueños, socio drama, cine foro, colcha de retazos, silueta y foto lenguaje entre otros, que les ayude a la capacidad de resiliencia frente al sufrimiento.
This social intervention proposal aims to reduce the physical and emotional effects suffered
by mothers who care for children and adolescents with childhood cancer. who are in palliative care
at the Funicáncer foundation, using psychosocial support tools, during a period of eight months
from March to November 2022. The methodology is based on the general theory of systems,
integral method and the interpretive paradigm.
The intervention project is aimed at a group of fourteen caregiving mothers, to whom
survey and semi-structured interview techniques were applied, where it was evidenced that they
are physically and emotionally affected, during the process of treating their children's illness and
disease. daughters who range in age from 0 to 17 years from various municipalities of Antioquia
and the metropolitan area of the city of Medellín, with vulnerable conditions, belonging to the
Funicáncer foundation.
The results are expected to reduce the physical and emotional effects suffered by mothers
who care for children and adolescents. As well as providing them with several methodological
tools such as: Reflective workshops, body mapping, dream map, socio-drama, cinema forum,
patchwork quilt, silhouette and photo language among others, that help them to have resilience in
the face of suffering.
