Los retos de la Revolución Industrial 4.0 en el contador del siglo XXI, una oportunidad para el desarrollo de sus nuevas aptitudes.

Abstract

La revolución industrial 4.0 es una era en la cual nos estamos adentrando cada vez con más fuerza y con la aparición del covid-19 se aceleró su proceso de desarrollo. Se dice que anteriormente las aptitudes más buscadas en los empleados eran competencias transversales, tales como el trabajar en equipo, ser responsables y saberse comunicar de forma correcta, pero esto muy seguramente serán competencias que habrá que complementar. Salir de la zona de confort es vital para formar parte de esta cuarta revolución y aunque será un entorno laboral lleno de muchos retos, muy seguramente también habrá un gran número de oportunidades para poder progresar y no ser parte de las cifras que alimentan el porcentaje de desempleo en Colombia. Las nuevas tecnologías permiten abrir oportunidades de mercado, por ende, la importancia de aprovechar todos los recursos que se tienen alcance para estar dentro de esta nueva realidad. Las Universidades también juegan un papel muy importante en la transmisión de conocimiento a sus estudiantes, puesto que gracias a lo aprendido sus egresados podrán tener herramientas y habilidades para afrontar los cambios que se vienen desde el ámbito laboral surgidos con la llegada de la Revolución Industrial 4.0.

The industrial revolution 4.0 is an era in which we are entering more and more strongly and with the appearance of covid-19 its development process accelerated. It is said that previously the most sought-after skills in employees were transversal skills, such as teamwork, being responsible and knowing how to communicate correctly, but these will surely be skills that will have to be complemented. Getting out of the comfort zone is vital to be part of this fourth revolution and although it will be a work environment full of many challenges, very surely there will also be a large number of opportunities to progress and not be part of the figures that feed the percentage of unemployment in Colombia. New technologies allow opening market opportunities, therefore, the importance of taking advantage of all available resources to be within this new reality. Universities also play a very important role in the transmission of knowledge to their students, since thanks to what they have learned, their graduates will be able to have tools and skills to face the changes that are coming from the workplace that have arisen with the arrival of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 .
