El fin de esta investigación fue una propuesta de fortalecimiento al proceso de seguimiento a graduados del programa Administración de Empresas presencial y a distancia de la Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios Sede Villavicencio. Para el desarrollo de este proyecto es importante tener en cuenta la metodología usada en el análisis de cada uno de los objetivos; esto se dio por medio de categorías conceptuales.
Para el desarrollo de esta investigación lo primero que se realizó fue una caracterización a los graduados teniendo en cuenta índice de empleo, ocupación y ubicación profesional y relación entre la situación laboral y el perfil de formación. Además, se tuvo como referente teórico el Observatorio Laboral para la Educación (OLE), como insumo para estudiar la pertinencia de los programas de Administración de Empresas y durante todo el análisis de la investigación. Luego se realizó una entrevista a los graduados para conocer su apreciación frente a la calidad de formación y como el programa ha favorecido su proyecto de vida también se tuvo en cuenta la población de empresarios, por medio de una encuesta se conoció su apreciación frente a la calidad de formación y el desempeño de los graduados.
The purpose of this research was a proposal to strengthen the process of monitoring graduates of
the Business Administration program face-to-face and distance from the University Corporation
Minuto de Dios Headquarters Villavicencio. For the development of this project it is important to
take into account the methodology used in the analysis of each of the objectives; This happened
through conceptual categories.
For the development of this research, the first thing that was carried out was a characterization of
the graduates taking into account the employment rate, occupation and professional location and
the relationship between the employment situation and the training profile. In addition, the Labor
Observatory for Education (OLE) was used as a theoretical reference, as an input to study the
relevance of Business Administration programs and throughout the research analysis. Then an
interview with the graduates was conducted to know their appreciation regarding the quality of
training and as the program has favored their life project, the population of entrepreneurs was
also taken into account, through a survey their appreciation was known against the quality of
training and performance of graduates.
For each of the objectives, the analysis of three conceptual categories that were chosen taking
into account each of the specific objectives of the investigation was taken into account and the
documentary review carried out during the investigation in this way established these conceptual
categories: Graduates, Training Quality and Impact on the Environment; Within these categories,
conceptual sub categories were established to help answer these conceptual categories. So that
for the conceptual category Graduates, three sub categories were taken into account: Gender,
place of residence and Life project. For training quality, three sub categories were also taken into

account: UNIMINUTO Business Administrator Profile, UNIMINUTO Business Administrator
Occupational Profile and UNIMINUTO Professional Competencies. And finally, the conceptual
category Impact on the Environment where four conceptual sub categories were established:
Employment Index Occupation, Professional location and job performance. In this way, the
analysis was carried out taking into account each of the conceptual categories and subcategories
and thus achieve the proposal to strengthen the process of monitoring graduates of the in-person
and distance business administration program of UNIMINUTO
