Abstract
La presente monografía da a conocer las “Afectaciones en las dinámicas familiares de los adultos mayores del municipio de Itagüí a partir de la pandemia COVID 19 y la visibilización en los cambios de sus historias de vida” tiene como propósito comprender las dinámicas internas que se tuvieron en el confinamiento y cómo estas transformaron la forma de vida de los adultos mayores, en torno a su relacionamiento, y a las formas de cuidado físico y emocional. Para la profesión del trabajo social es importante dar un reconocimiento a los cambios presentados en las familias y sus implicaciones en las historias de vida de esta población.
Para el desarrollo del tema se llevó a cabo una metodología con un enfoque cualitativo, por medio de entrevistas semiestructuradas a una muestra de tres hombres y tres mujeres pertenecientes a la población adulta mayor del municipio de Itagüí, lo permitió identificar los procesos de adaptabilidad familiar de esta población frente a los cambios en sus dinámicas, como también los mecanismos abordados desde la familia para el cuidado físico y emocional, y como en la actualidad están siendo usados por las mismas.
This monograph presents the "Effects on the family dynamics of the elderly in the municipality of Itagüí from the pandemic COVID 19 and the visibility in the changes of their life stories" aims to understand the internal dynamics that were held in confinement and how these transformed the lifestyle of older adults, around their relationship, and forms of physical and emotional care. For the social work profession it is important to give recognition to the changes presented in families and their implications in the life stories of this population. To develop the topic, a methodology was carried out with a qualitative approach, through semi structured interviews with a sample of three men and three women belonging to the elderly population of the municipality of Itagüí, it allowed identifying the processes of family adaptability of this population in the face of changes in its dynamics, as well as the mechanisms addressed by the family for physical and emotional care, and as they are currently being used by them.
