The incentives in the labor area respond to a model of reciprocity between the individual and the
organization, therefore, it is necessary to provide incentives that stimulate the perception of
satisfaction of the workers and in turn, promote institutional policies that motivate the staff and
take them to a continuous labor improvement.
The present study addresses the importance of non-monetary incentives, the different ways of
manifesting them to employees and the need to propose them as a valid reward option to
motivate the worker and fulfill his expectations about the organization. Similarly, the current
relevance of non-monetary incentives is argued with theoretical contributions and proceeds to
develop the information collection methodology.
